San Diego 7's Rugby Day 1 pt. 2

San Diego is a big difference from Minnesota, the weather on Saturday was a loose 72 degrees, a far cry from the -30 degrees that MN was experiencing at the time. The Rugby was great too, we wailed on Canada but Argentina was not so easy. It was a great display of Kenyan unity at a really sad point in the countries history.

San Diego 7's Friday Night

So we arrived on Friday night just in time for the party, unfortunately we were told the main bash had a line around the corner, so we decided to go with plan #2 and that was some place King Kevo took us to which was ghetto as funk (my buddy who live in SD told me that was like the murder capital of the city), but hey we were out of town and in the company of good friends so we made a party out of it...some did is a little to excessively... the pictures will tell

Papa's, Betty's & Nathan's Birthday Bash

Summer is over lakini Kenyan's can still hold a serious BBQ. I did not take pictures of the food cause it would have put all you cooks to shame, Karen threw ish down! The atmoshpere at the Party was lively, fresh and bila stress. After the shots I took, I don't remember much of the club except Sally won us a DVD player!

Kleptomaniax Concert

I thoroughly enjoyed the Kleptomaniax concert, I am talking more about the entire ambiance and the concert itself (check out the video). It was great to see all the people out having a great time and enjoying the great weather we were experiencing at the time.

Bamboo & Attitude Concert

Yeah yeah I know, it's been a while but I came thru. What can I say about this concert apart from saying truly one of the best I have seen, despite what the haters predicted. Had a huge f*ing ball, & was sober too. Was out with the girl of my dreams (love you Sally), fam & friends. Went backstage for the meet & greet too (p.s. to those hatin chiles, fuck you). Finally these jamaa's are as cool as can be, great peeps.

Judy & Kariuki's Farewell Party #2

This is was so good the first time we decided we are going to have another farewell bash, for those who missed the first one but mostly for those of us who like getting ish faced. I also included some of the pictures taken while driving to the airport, mostly scenery but it was an emotional time for me, and I was hung over. Cheers Kariuki!

Jan Babies B-Day Party

I had sahaud I even had this pictures most of them are from the B-Day party we had for the January Babies akina David, Paul, Sally, Ogallo, Suzie & Arthur. Still reeling from the pure mwenjoyo's of jana, this day turned out even better. I met old friends & school mates, I saw a hella lot more booty & even though Kenyan lost we had a great time supporting them.

We got to the bash 20 min. before closing, went to the after party asked a crack head for directions, got lost asked another crack head for directions, fikad, the place smelt like paint & bomb, had a f*ing good time.

New Years 2005

I had a great time with DJ John, the jamaa is nuts he played house music @ the Red Sea, that shit was bonkers! This day I was actually the sober cab, taimagini! My nice groove with 2 lovely ladies (no lies) was interrupted by hungry Kenyans, it's all good though

Thanksgiving MN

For the 3rd year in a row poor planning & jobo, stopped me from going to Atlanta, but I had I great time. I had an inside man in ATL who was supposed to unleash the ATL pics lakini he is feeling a supuu....hopefully soon.

Ray C

Ray C came to Town just before Thanksgiving. It was a good gesture & she did put on a descent show, but the jamaas who really enjoyed were some random Soma men who were busy stuffing her pants with $ bills. I am not putting those pics up....pole.

Mtoto Chao @ E.A. Taste Restaurant

Mtoto Chao as usual put up on a great show @ the East African Taste Restaurant. The music was meaningful and powerful, so was the performance. DJ's Dan & Ras Steve did a great job keeping the crowd moving.

DJ Babu @ Rum Runners

Dj Babu @ Rum Runners was an unexpected surprise, we had decided to bar hop but instead decided to go to the spot. The music and the presentation was great. I unfortunately missed the 2nd date but I heard nothing but praise about the second night.

Red San Concert

Thank God for pictures cause I am looking at some of the stuff I did & I cannot remember 1/2 the ish I did. Red San was great, I enjoyed the concert, the only problem was the jamaa was getting all the attention. Chiles were looking rather tasty. If you missed it pole.

Labor Day Weekend 2004

It was Summer time & we were all going a little crazy. Mezesha Ent held down the weekend for us holding a couple of parties. I cleverly included a couple of pictures of some my downtime (passed the f*ck out). Thanks Herbo & Nicola for making extra special.

Soul Jam Ent Ft. DJ Otieno V (V for Victor just like me)

Vee Ent's DJ Otieno V was in town for a 1 night stand & he really put in his work. It was almost a burn out on the floor. I also found some pic's I took @ the lounge the next time (I have no memory of that though)

Birthday BBQ

All I remember was Ogzi saying "Step Up" and then things got fuzzy. We seriously consumed 3 bottles of Tequila at last count doing "step up shots", the E&J did not help either. Good times

Kilimanjaro Party May 9th

DJ Adrian was back in Minnesota for seconds during this Kilimanjaro Party. The Party was killer so was the after party.

Supuu Party March 3th

Supuu ent. brought along Dj Top Donn for this event, the music was great and there was an added bonus of a live performance. Oh yeah the ladies were looking outstanding.

Supuu Party April 7th

I remember going to the liquor store @ 9.am. thanks to Kariuki and Omondi, they took me to IHOP later that morning or was before the rum run (memory fuzzy...)? Anyway we headed out to the Supuu Party later that night and Kariuki showed us yet again how to pass the f@ck out.

New Year 2004 Party

For some reason I totally forgot I had these pictures, the long term effects of alcohol I guess. I did not take as many pictures as I would have like, I remember that the bash ended early after an altercation happened. Kenyans and booze not a good combination.

Kenyatta Day Day 1

As usual Kenyans tore the first day up. The good thing is that I can remember most of the night. There was a large out of town turnout. The Dj's were turing the spot out, the ladies were looking simply delicious and it did not feel quite like Autumn just yet.

Bigger than the first.....Dj Adrian from the Capital FM Tour of the USA was on the tables, people from all over, it was wild. I got home at about 6 a.m. I think. Props to the people @ Mezesha Ent and Kilimanjaro Ent for putting this together.

Christmas 2004 Party

Great party featuring Dj Adrian, one of Kenya's finest Dj's, hosted by Kilimanjaro Entertainment. The location was prime, the music was great and the mood was excellent.

The Groove Pt 2

I did not take any pictures at the actual party but I got some great shots of the after party. This was the weekend after Kariuki's graduation and so they are plenty of pictures of him passed the f*ck out, as well as his brother Mwangi quite intoxicated. Good times.

The festivities have begun and so does the Summer ritual & past time of finding that perfect freak (male or female depending on your preference). It was fun as are all openers, the people don't know this is the perfect time to set your Summer time mood. It was also Peter and Lisa Kerre's birthday, Happy Birthday Fools.

Day 4, I was running on will alone, had the brew shakes at least 2ice an hour & had to work the next day (yes I do have a job). Day 4 is great since I all the pressure is gone & all you have to do is enjoy yourself + there were some serious Amazons at the spot, I could never date one (even in my dreams) but they are hot.

Jamhuri Day Party

Cold ass night but the mood was merry. It was a bit of a switch up, Dj Wangechi held it down showing that it is a growing female career. Thanks to supuu.com for throwing that one.
